For an island hotel, this was luxury. We stayed at one of the hill villas, with it's own pool (I never got to try it though as it was way too cold for me). Idyllic surroundings and just a short boat trip from one of the locals into Phi Phi town for a night (or two) out.
The price was reasonable, the food was delicious and as I said, for an island location, the rooms was great. Transport to and from Phi Phi is easy to organise and cheap.
Would definitely recommend if you don't want to slum it on the island - via
