Pearl Island is a great day trip but if snorkeling is canceled and that’s what you went for, you will be disappointed. There’s so much trash in the deeper waters around the beach areas. Very little shade and small beach area is very neglected with a dilapidated non functional swim up bar. There are old nets, buckets, wood and pieces of metal in the water along with a lot of other trash. For the cost I was expecting to not be swimming above trash. Maybe they should spend a little money and clean up the trash! - via
