Great spot, especially for beginners!
At our time there were strong tides, so in the morning (when the wind was best onshore and the tide was low) I was able to walk far out into the lagoon to practice upwind sailing. It's a long walk, but once you get to the water you're in a great starting position. The rapidly rising tide does the rest.
About the team: everyone was very friendly and helpful. My kites were too small for the spot, but after good advice I was able to rent them at reasonable prices. (Between 14 and 17sqm for 15-20 knots, you need larger kites than you are used to in Europe, as Dave explained to me in detail).
Meanwhile, my girlfriend took lessons, from the first water start almost to altitude hold in 7 hours. Great lessons! Communication via radio on the helmet, but teachers are always nearby. -via
