Really, this is a labor of love for the staff and owner.
The instruction was led by the stellar Dirk, whose patience and thoroughness throughout made me think that in another life he could have been a NASA astronaut--absolutely above and beyond at every step.
Micheal, the owner, is also a teacher and runs the thriving dive shop where there's really a great sense of joy and community.
And, there were three excellent dive masters, all excellent teachers and clearly involved because of their passion and love of diving.
So, the expense was a bargain; I feel so lucky to have access to such a top-notch diving school and shop, and my next step is to do some of the fun dives they offer, monthly, and soon get certified as an advanced open water diver. - via
