Really enjoyed meeting Gunter and his wife. The resort has beautiful views and the food excellent (very good for vegetarians). My cottage mattress was a bit basic. There’s no wi-fi - I didn’t find this a huge issue. Get a Smart SIM card at the airport with data and it’s easy enough to stay in touch. The dive ops are well run. I went at the end of September and did four shores dives in Sogod Bay. If you want to see Whale Sharks or go to the more exotic locations like Limasawa you’ve GOT to go later. I was the only diver in the three resorts in the area - absolutely no chance of a boat ride out that far with only one passenger. - via
