I am sad to write this review as I was so excited to learn to kite with Mark. I spent many, many hours alone in dark waters trying to get a kite up with no wind. I was disappointed to have paid thousands of dollars for him to sit on his phone in his boat, far away, for hours and days. I asked Mark for a partial refund as I then went to learn with someone else and found my skill immediately. The low quality of his instruction was stark compared to the brilliance of the new one. I shared my feelings privately to avoid writing this as I don’t want anyone else to spend thousands of dollars to float solo in dark water and feel disappointed in themselves. Mark was shocked by my experience and said he hadn’t received a bad review in 20 years. Sadly, the review above proves that is not true. - via
