JUST BOOK THE TOUR.
We went on a snorkeling tour with Carolyn in October. We had an incredible experience. Carolyn picked us up from the resort herself and taught us about the different parishes as we drove from Negril to Montego Bay. Her sailboat is wonderful and very welcoming. Her first mate knows his stuff and you can tell she genuinely cares very deeply about her staff.
We snorkeled at Airport Reef and Fish Pond reef. She really does mean it when she says you can stay as long as you like. Fish Pond reef was one of the most active reefs I have seen. It was teeming with life and sea creatures galore. She taught us about the different stages of coral, showing examples of each stage and about different fish/creatures.
We left just in time to watch a thunderstorm pass through as we made our way back to the dockyard. I had mentioned always wanting to try a Jamaican patty and she was happy to take us to Mother’s to do just that.
Carolyn is one of the most interesting humans I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She is spunky, humorous, and rough around the edges. Her life story is inspiring and honestly pretty epic. (You should write an autobiography, Carolyn!). We will never forget our day with her. - via
