Seriously underrated gem!!! Just got my PADI open water license with Ko Tao Dive Resort. The dive school is linked with the beautiful paradise zone hotel so you get FREE accommodation for the 3 nights it takes unlike other places on the island. We didn’t realise this at the time of booking as it’s all the same price as other places - they should definitely advertise this more!
The hotel was stunning, with delicious breakfast and very attentive and friendly staff. But the star of the show for me was my instructor Tao - he is so friendly, knowledgable and patient, and made me feel so safe.
The dive school has a big modern building/ learning centre, also has their own pier and boats unlike other dive schools along the coast - this makes it so much more flexible. They also deliberately have smaller group sizes so everyone gets more attention from the instructor and it doesn’t get too crowded.
Overall, the diving was one of the best things I’ve ever done, and it was a pleasure to be shown how to dive by Tao and to be hosted by such wonderful hotel staff :-) cannot rave about it enough! We will be back! - via
