My partner and I dove with Koox this week. We did 2 days of diving to the cenote (Casa and Dos Ojos) and one day at Cozumel.
Our instructor for the Cenote Eber was very knowledgeable and kind. We did Barbie line at Dos Ojos, which is nice but check with them, there might be a better line to do (e.g. to see the bat cave). Our second day dive was just average, our second dive was in a very busy area so not much wild life (kept hearing boats and motors all the way), and the dive ended up right next to a cruise ship. It felt like we were diving in an attraction park which is not at all what we were either expecting, either looking for. I would recommend to really ask details about where you are going. We were told we would see a lot of colorful corals (which is what I really love to see) and that was a big disappointment… these 2 dives felt like a real waste of money and these were not cheap (to us anyway). I hope others have a better experience, maybe we were out of luck. Gears are getting old and probably need more attention. - via
