I spent 6 days diving with Rich Coast Diving on a very last minute trip. Rich Coast Diving made my week a dream!
The diving was UNREAL. So much life including nudis, sea snakes, moray eels, sting rays (large and small), multiple species of sharks, and we were even graced by a whale shark. Very good viz and for the most part, low current burden.
I think what really made my trip was the friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff and owners, Celine and Neils.
From the very beginning, Celine was helpful and accommodating for all of my needs. During my pre-dive meeting, she not only helped me arrange/coordinate my gear; she helped me figure out how to rent a local scooter to get around town and she gave awesome recommendations for local things to do (activities, restaurants, etc.). I was also able to join them on on both Catalinas and Bat Islands trips, and this could not have happened without the care and attention of Celine and Neils. These trips require that you do a local dive with them, so I would try to plan multiple days of diving with Rich Coast, if possible.
The DMTs and Dive Instructors balanced prioritizing safety with fun, and they taught me so much about local underwater life. I still think about our surface intervals, where we got to enjoy freshly cut pineapple and Gloria cake. The boat captains and drivers were so helpful in every way as well.
