Back in the early 80s, I used to go here with my friends when it was known as Huey's Lake. We'd pay a nominal fee and swim in extremely clean water. Women were occasionally topless and Huey would sometimes ride around the perimeter on horseback with a revolver holstered on his side. Good times (and rating reflects those good times. I'm admittedly not sure what it's like now). :-) - via
