I can't say enough good things about our tour experience. Ze and Carlos made the tour fun and engaging. My friends and I had never canyoned before, and none of us felt pressured or overwhelmed at any point. The guides were very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna which was an added bonus. I did not expect to learn so much about the Azores on a canyoning trip.
We booked our tour the night before, and when I got my confirmation email I noticed that I booked the tour for the wrong day. I contacted the agency immediately, and they contacted me the next morning. They were able to fit us in without any issue. They gave us a WhatsApp number to contact them, and they responded almost immediately with any questions we had.
We did the half day, beginner tour. After getting over the fear of the initial repel/waterfall jump, the rest of the experience wasn't too intimidating. If you have prior experience with canyoning or something similar, I would suggest doing the longer, more difficult tour they offer. For us, with no prior experience, it was a perfect introduction into canyoning. - via
