My friend and I did the PADI Open Water Dive Course last week, Tuesday to Thursday. Although I already had my Open water ticket I wanted to support my friend and also to see if much had changed in the 20 years since I did it. I found the course to be well structured and the dive training instructor Simon clearly knew everything we needed to know and more. He was an excellent instructor and his gruff no-nonsense attitude belied a dry sense of humour and ability to both give and receive good natured jibes ??
I would happily do further courses under Simon's tutelage.
As for the shop, the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in all things diving. - via
