I gifted my husband the Open Water Certification class for Christmas, choosing Scuba Unlimited for his shop. Once he was ready to do the pool training, we talked with the staff about my prior tries to certify. They talked through the issues & concerns that I had and offered to conduct a Discover Scuba Class with me, one on one, to see if I could be comfortable. With the expert, patient guidance of Pete, Craig & others, I was able to pass all my pool work. We wanted to conduct our open water check-out dives in the FL Keys and they were able to connect us with Islamorada Dive Center. I'm now excited to say I'm Open Water Certified. Without the help of the staff here I wouldn't be able to say that. So thank you all for opening up this wonderful new world to me! - via
