I completed my OW Certification with Cayuco in January. I have to admit I was quite nervous but my instructor and guide Sam was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, calming and encouraging and patient. I ended up completing 20 dives in two weeks and because of the experience I had with Sam and Cayuco I can't wait to dive again.
Pros:
-One instructor per person. I was happily amazed to learn that I while I was completing my certification I would have an instructor work one on one with me.
-Onsite storage for my equipment so I'm not lugging it around the resort.
-Concierge service - if you're a certified diver, they offer to take care of your kit, putting it together and breaking it down for each dive.
-Everyone from Melissa at the front desk, the manager Vasco and all the guides and instructors we had the pleasure to interact with were personable, and genuinely great people.
Cons:
-When we were there, they were experiencing difficulty with their dive boat which meant travelling in some small boats/water taxis. On a positive note, I'm now an expert on putting my kit on and taking it off in the water. - via
