Absolutely amazing experience.
Even thought our luck wasn’t all that good and the weather as pretty bad. We stillt enjoyed the whole experience and were fascinated by what we got to see. It’s also very nice of them to compensate us with some extra fly time for the disappointing weather condition.
Couple things to not for those who r interested:
1, You do need to wake up very early, the meet up time for us was 5:15 in the morning, and we had to wake up before 4 am and drive one hour from Christchurch.
2, Get ready to do some work, every body chipped in during the set up and clean up before and after the fly, it’s a group job, so be ready to get your hands dirty. But there will be food and champagne in the end to award the hard work. - via
