We went on a snorkeling trip to a nearby island(15min boat ride).
The tour was a combination of 4 divers and 2 snorkelers(us). The main diving guides were very nice, knowledgeable and clearly focused on safety. The booking process was easy and the process from getting from the shop to the boat to the location was good and efficient.
However there were several issues with our trip.
The shops priority was clearly the divers and the snorkeling was not given as much attention.
They forgot to pack our snorkels. Fortunately there were spares on board but one of the spares was the old style with no valve or top cover so was not very nice to use.
The water conditions were quite rough and the boat dropped us around 300m from the snorkeling location because that was where the dive location was(they were diving a wreck) so it was a long swim in open rough water to the snorkeling location.
The snorkeling guide was also very new(only 2 weeks on the job) and had never snorkeled the location before which felt a bit unsafe with the rough water, rocks and being so far from the boat.
The visibility was also very poor due to the rough conditions. This was no fault of the shop. However I would recommend checking the conditions before booking. - via
