Edit: We wrote directly to the management - without any response. We addressed our concerns with Front Desk who was rather dismissive.
Beautiful hotel in a nice little bay. Long drive to the airport, plan about 1hr50 on windy roads. Great food. While they advertise 4 restaurants, be aware that 3 require reservations (and for I-Tal extra fee of $90/5pm dine time) to be set up - way before arrival. We were unaware of and hence did not manage to access any of the (3) restaurants to be “booked” during our 5 night stay! The hotel is occupied by British clientele (95% ) with longer stays (7-14 days), making it challenging to get reservations in for short term stays. Same for spa treatments - we were not aware to book prior to arrival which left us with less desirable treatment options/ times for the “included” daily options as many treatments offered as part of the package were “booked/ unavailable”. If we were to return we would focus on making arrangements prior to our arrival to fully benefit and justify the cost.
One piece of advice - make sure to not leave valuables out or lose anything as it will not be returned. I still (3 mths later) see my disappearing AirPods at the same private residence (15 min from the hotel) as well as at the BodyHoliday location ?? daily
The bodyguard staff was phenomenal and classes offered well thought out. We had a room with a fantastic bay view. We enjoyed the smaller scale of hotel vs the big “Sandals” at the same price point. - via
