The owners are so amazingly welcoming. The lodge does not have a beach, but we chose it for it's reputation for being extremely eco-friendly. Many of the other resorts in Mafia claim to be "eco-lodges" but there is nothing eco-friendly about them. They just enjoy being in the amazing Mafia Marine Park eco-system, but do nothing to actively protect or promote it. Shamba Kilole is different! They go the extra mile to ensure you have a comfortable and sustainable visit to Mafia. The pool and the view more than make up for the lack of beach! - via
