Wanted to give a shout out to Andres. He has been working at Prodive for several years and helped save my dive vacation last week. I ruptured my ear drum on my first day diving. I went to the doctor and he told me I couldn't dive the rest of the week. I learned about a special mask that people with ear issues could use (IST ProEar Dive Mask). It protects your ears from getting wet and helps with equalization. So the search was on. I went to several dive shops and also called around with no help until I called and spoke to Andres at Prodive Dive Shop. Andres said no one on the island carries them and to call ME Dive Center in Playa. I did and they had the mask in stock. Needless to say I was diving the next day and beyond. Because Andres referred me to ME Dive Center in Playa I was able to get in 8 more dives that week with no issues. Thanks again Andres for saving my dive vacation. - via 
You saved my dive vacation! I want to thank Erica, Eduardo and Miguel. I was in Cozumel diving last week and on my very first day of diving I ruptured my ear drum. I went to the hospital for divers and the doctor told me I could not dive the rest of the week. I couldn't believe it. I had many ear surgeries as a child and it finally caught up to me. The membrane in my ear has weakened due to aging and a small hole was present in the camera that the doctor put in my ear. I was not happy at all. So my dive buddy went the next day diving and one of the other divers was wearing a special mask (IST ProEar Dive Mask) that also connected to his ears to help them equalize better and kept them dry. The diver was in his 60's and has been using these for over 10 years due to the same issue. I searched all the dive shops in Cozumel and no one carried them. Then I went into the ProDive Shop in Cozumel and Andres told me to call ME Dive Center in Playa. So I did and they had several of them in stock. They had an employee there that was getting off work that lives in Cozumel. They arranged for me to meet Miguel at the local ferry in Cozumel where I was able to look at the mask to make sure the mask was going to work. Needles to say I was in the water diving with no issues the next day. Thanks to Andres at ProDive Shop in Cozumel and the great people at ME Dive Center in Playa they saved my dive vacation. I got in 8 more dive thanks to everyone involved. Thanks again. - via
