The problem when you start to dive is that you have no previous experience of what a good standard is or what is a bad standard. I first started my diving education with another dive centre, which subsequently went out of business, and I accepted what they told me as gospel, fortunately I survived my diving experience to tell this tale. It was only after the dive centre went out of business and I continued my diving education with New Horizons Dive Centre that I realised there was a world of difference in the safety standards employed by the two centres, New Horizons definitely operate at a gold standard level when it comes to safety. I have completed a number of courses with New Horizons Dive Centre and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. - via
