Mermaid impressed my wife and I. This was our third liveaboard, and it was easily the best. We did the Raja Ampat trip in December during anchovy season. Booking and paperwork was smooth. The ship was in great condition and even the rental gear was in great shape. It's clear that Mermaid really thinks through how to form dive groups to make it the best possible experience. Our dive guide Rebecca learned what we wanted to see and how we liked to dive. She accommodated our preferences with a smile. We saw everything we wanted to see in Raja Ampat and would love to go back. And how can I not mention the crew? The captain himself would come to help at the dive deck! - via
