I signed up to go paragliding on a whim, it was only as we were driving up to the mountain top that the reality of the risks at hand started to hit home. I was wondering whether it is really a great idea to go paragliding in a developing country?
As we arrived I was introduced to my leader for the glide, Christian. He could not have been more professional and reassuring. Any concerns I had were completely dispelled by his clear communication and calm demeanour. More than that, he brought such great energy to the glide. It was the experience of a lifetime and absolutely worth the money. Go paragliding with these guys while you're in Atitlan. - via
