We did an evening manta dive with Blue Wilderness with our group of five, ranging from a new cert to my wife & I who dive a lot. The boat is no-frills, but that's fine as it's only about 20 minutes from the Puako ramp to Manta Point (by Mauna Kea Beach). We've done this dive before and it's nice that the mantas get a nice healthy meal for their nighty performance. April, has a marine science degree, gave an informative lecture on cool manta facts. Our divemaster, Flipper, gave a thorough briefing for the dive, for which they set up lights to attract the plankton to bring in the Mantas. You're given extra weights to keep you the sandy bottom for a half hour dive while the (half-dozen?) mantas zoom right at you and pull up to roll right over and loop around. Oh, and the cookies a great too, and you can also find them at the Puako general store. - via google
