Cheapest I found. The class, instructor and rentals altogether cost around $700. The experience is not ideal, specially the pool. There were more than 10 students with 4 instructors in one medium pool. No room or extra time to absorb the lessons and try them for yourself. You're always bumping into others or pool walls. The fact that they have everything under one roof is good and sometimes bad. Good because you have access to everything you need: class, rentals, pool, store, instructor. Bad because it becomes crowded and hard to move around sometimes with other customers also around you, waiting for your turn for rentals or changing rooms.
They told me maybe 5 times that it's better to buy my personal gear then rent, even when I told them I decided to rent they kept saying don't rent, it's the bad choice. I'm still happy that I rented boots and fins.
Overall it was ok, I recommend Dan if you don't want to pay more to other shops and you're local to South Bay. - via
