I would avoid this company for future booking and highly recommend same to all my friends in bay area. On 12/28/2023, we booked for ATV ride around 11am for 1pm-3pm slot. Called them after booking and they verified confirmation and asked us to bring ID. Within 10 mins we got a call saying city has cancelled all beach activities including ATV. I respect that, however i figured out that such warning was issued since morning and all other ATV companies stop taking booking from 28th morning to 30th morning. I asked for refund and they said we don't have refund policy but we can issue voucher for future use. I requested them that we came 200 miles one way for this activity, and we can't just go back and come back, they flat out said sorry we can't issue refund. I told them it's fraud to collect money when you are asked by City not to operate, they just hung up the phone on me. I checked their website on 29th and 30th when ATV was not permitted in Pismo beach, this was the only company still taking reservation. All other companies including Steve's ATV Rentals and BJ’s ATV rental were not accepting reservations. Please avoid Sun Buggie Fun ATV Rentals. I will put same experience on facebook so others don’t have to go through this experience. We were 3 families and all had to go through same experience.
Add-on: Response from owner is completely lie. Those 3 days all other companies stop taking reservations except Sun Buggie was taking reservations for all 3 days while ATV was not permitted. They were issuing voucher instead of refund to basically take your money. I strongly recommend to book other companies to secure your money. - via
