I had a very unfortunate experience with this “company”. When we went into to book the dive, the young man helping us seems disinterested and inconvenienced. He seemed to be more concerned and bothered with the street construction going on outside than he did helping us. We booked for a dive for $300 two days prior to the dive date.
Unfortunately the night before the dive I became very sick with food poising to the point I was running a high fever and was having sever stomach issues. We called multiple times as early as possible that morning and sent several emails to inform them that we didn’t feel it was safe to dive.
They responded via email only saying that because we signed the contract that shows the cancellation policy they will not offer any refund at all.
The young man helping us passed off this “contract” as a medical review and mentioned nothing about a cancellation policy. It would have taken maybe 30 seconds to bring that to our attention but he didn’t.
I emailed back about an hour later requesting just a $150 refund to meet half way and they didn’t even respond to the email.
There are several dive shops in Tamarindo. I wouldn’t recommend this one. - via
