Very chill family friendly mountain. Everyone is so nice and just fun to be around. I swear every liftie had a smile and a wink at 3:30 pm. Every person on the cross-country trail had positive words and energy to help me be a better skier! That being said: Bolton valley is not a mega resort! The snow cats woke me and my wife up every 20 minutes from 4 to 5. Our room was right next to the Saturday party, and it was loud! If you stay in the Hotel and don't like the restaurant, you better bring some snacks! Regardless of minor inconveniences: It is really nice to ski in a place that's for everybody and not just for well off people. If only the resort could invest in a carpet or detachable lift! - via
