This is a scam, a bootlegged operation, and not permitted by the Jamaica Tourism Board to operate. Expedia must take it down from its site. I reserved 1/2/24 and 1/3/24 but did not stay because of the filth I arrived at 7:30 p.m. to an unlit reception area, short of being desolate, had it not been for a watchman and a cat guarding the place. There was no hotel clerk for check-in. The watchman took me to a room down a dark hallway they had assigned for me. The room was moldy, musty, and smelly. It did not appear that the bedding had been changed for some time; it looked dingy. I asked for a different room. That room was no different. I left for another hotel. I returned the following day to ask for my refund. The manager and owner, Roy Watkins, was not customer-friendly and behaved as though he did not understand the issue. He did not offer a refund or any solution to the problem. I had to file a fraud claim with my card company and a complaint with Expedia. I am still waiting for the investigation's completion. This is a dirty and terrible place. - via
