We had 5 wonderful days of diving with the amazing crew from Academy Bay Diving. Booked via travel agency, everything was already settled, trying on wetsuits and fins the day before diving went well and quickly. On the boat everything was well organized, the briefings superb and the whole team, especially Joao very helpful. Not to forget the captain Xavier, who managed the boat even through a sometimes more rougher sea. Unfortunately I’m getting seasick very easily, but I felt being in good hands all the time. There was a full service by getting all the equipment on. Gaby and Leo are super guides, humerous, competent and friendly and patient (e.g. with the fresh divers). What I appreciated was the “check diving” (pulling off the mask and the regulator under the water in order to see the everyone is able to do this). And a nice service too is that we could download the pictures at the end of the day, the guides had made.
And the dive spots have been amazing! I’ve never seen so much especially so many sharks (and with about 60 dives I’ve been to some places before ??). So, Galapagos for me is on the best diving areas ever and Academy Bay Diving the best diving center to enjoy this! - via
