We booked a 3 day tour to Merzouga from Marrakech to Fes. It was a good experience. The drivers, stops, tours, food were good. The price tag was 70€/pp. They don’t really communicate with you much during the tour but if you ask they will be happy to help. We were picked up in Marrakech at 7 am and after picking other people up were on the road by 8:30. Made a few stops on the way and stopped for lunch. Lunch was not covered. It was around 100 MAD for a side salad, dish, oranges. Water is double the price at these restaurants so maybe buy ahead of time if you can keep it from getting warm. After a few more stops and bus/group changes we arrived at Dades Valley. The accommodations was “okay”. Food was good and hospitality was great. Wifi and network is poor. Headed out the next day to Merzouga. Similar as day before. Arrived at Merzouga and took an hour camel ride with an overnight backpack. Saw the sunset in the desert. Accommodation and food was “okay”. Next day head out at 4:30 am after breakfast (jam, bread, coffee, tea). The minibus for the drive was comfortable and the drive/roads was much smoother than we expected. - via
