A HUGE thank you to our guide Zach for making our half-day trip unforgettable and exciting for our group, but more importantly, for my husband who has a disability.
Before making reservations, I called AAE on two different occasions to let them know about my husband's disability (spinal injury) and was assured both times he would be safe and taken care of. Because of my husband's disability, I genuinely believed AAE decided to put us with the most knowledgeable and experienced guide, Zach.
During our trip, there were a few times Zach had to lift my husband from under his arms to readjust him in his seat to make sure he was comfortable and safe. He even steered the raft to the riverbank and crafted a handle from a rope for my husband to have something to grip onto. It worked beautifully!
