I don't often leave reviews but felt I should to help others looking for exactly what we were. We were Open Water divers wanting to see the Great Barrier Reef with good dive masters aboard a nice boat. We got exactly that.
Ryan, leading the team, was hilarious and switched on, ensuring everyone's safety. And Ben was our dive master - attentive, enthusiastic and extremely helpful throughout our trip. He even took the time afterwards to run us through what we saw out in the reef on our dives, top man! Genuinely passionate about diving and the reef life.
As for the boat, modern, well equipped, spacious. It ticked all the boxes for us. We were lucky on the day as it was at about half capacity (30 odd people), so there was tonnes of room.
The team made sure we were put into a group of similar level experienced divers which was appreciated. And we were dealt with separately to the snorkellers when entering the water - we were first to enter the water.
Overall, I couldn't recommend enough. It was safe, enjoyable, and a great day out. Would definitely use TUSA again if/when we come back! Thanks team - via
