We were open water certified a week before our dive in Roatan. To say I was nervous is an understatement. I wanted to make sure that my husband and I dove with people that understood we were new, this was our first dive, and needed a bit of reassurance. I'm so very very thankful we chose Octopus Dive School. Bryce took us out on the first dive and was very patient and didn't rush me as I worked on descent and equalizing. The next day, we went with Nuria and WOW, this was an even better experience. You feel as if you are diving with family. Nuria takes safety very seriously and provided a very thorough pre-dive session. I struggled a bit with descending and remaining neutrally buoyant and she was there every step of the way, very calming and intuitively knew what I needed to become comfortable and enjoy my 2nd ever dive.
My husband and I enjoyed the experience so much, we have booked our advance open water training with Nuria and Octopus Dive School. Can't really say enough good things about this school. If you are thinking of booking training, a dive, or snorkel - book with them. You will never regret it :) - via
