We had booked for a afternoon Snorkeling trip to Vieques but it was cancelled by Pure Adventures due to weather. They did a great job of texting us few hours in advance and offered the same trip for next morning. The staff are generally super responsive via text. Regarding the excursion, after departure from Ceiba we reached a beach in Vieques in about 20 mins. The team let us try the snorkeling gear here and we stayed here for a few mins before departing to the actual snorkeling location. The crew did not have flippers that would fit my 8 year old daughter. I was disappointed since it would be exhausting for her to be kicking for 30 mins without flippers. I had expressed my disappointment to the team and mentioned that we would have brought our own flippers from home had the company told us in advance. Anyway, I was looking to move past it and take ot as it comes. To my surprise, the team offered to tow my daughter along and Juan helped her out. I have mixed feelngs because we were so excited for her to put her snorkel practice to use for the first time and bummed that she didn’t get to do on her own. At the same time, we are happy that Juan was there to help us out the entire snorkel trip. We saw a few turtles, one sting ray and some fish. We enjoined the trip overall and will highly recommend this company. - via Google
