We spent a week at Mimpi Indah in December 2022 and had a great time there. We arranged a pick up at Manado airport, the driver was there waiting for us with a sign. After an hour drive, we took a boat to Bankga and got a warm welcome. Our bungalow was ready and clean when we arrived.
You can dive virtually everywhere around the island. We went to a many dive sites just 10 minutes away by boat. The corrals are healthy, there is a lot of sea life from the usual tropical fish to eagle rays and dugong (we didn't see any dugong, but we saw a baby manta and a few reef sharks).
Owen, the resort owner, is an easygoing and social person. He and his staff care about their guests and it made our experience very enjoyable. The chef in the kitchen is great, the food is good and the meal times can be adapted according to the diving schedule. We got served an afternoon snack that was different every day. Our room got cleaned every morning. The resort is relatively small, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Ah, and they have two super friendly dogs, we miss them already. - via
