I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Nakia. The hosts, Robin and Jim, were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I loved staying at resort with only 4 bures and no crowds. I highly recommend doing both the Lavena coastal walk and the Tavoro waterfalls. Both were beautiful and can be done together in one day. Robin will help you arrange all the details for the excursions. I recommend getting the meal plan as their food was fresh and excellent (most of the food comes from their onsite garden!) and you're not getting a better meal elsewhere on Taveuni.
Overall I'm super happy I chose Nakia and can't wait to go back! - via
