I can't even begin to tell you what a fantastic stay I am having. Traveling to Costa Rica for almost 20 years and never venturing up north to Nicaragua my bad. This is a beautiful country with very friendly people and yes world class surf.
One week at Dale Dagger surf lodge isn't enough. Mike and his staff have gone above and beyond to make my stay a experience I will never forget. Make no mistake this is a first class operation I almost feel guilty about the incredible amount of attention they have given me. All you need to do is surf. Food is prepared by Maria and is waiting for you when you return from your surf. Every meal has been outstanding. Ramon and Elvin the surf guides are wonderful people and great surfers helpful both in and out of the water.
The lodge it's self is spotless and comfortable with a great view of the setting sun.
I'm not a ripper by any means, but that wasn't a problem they made sure I surfed breaks that suited my level. When I get home I will be planning a return trip in the fall. Can't wait!
There's always risk when traveling whether it's in Europe, Mexico, Central America or the United States of America. I have felt safe the entire time during my stay here in Nicaragua.
