I was preparing for the skippers license with this company. One star for the captain as he was amazing. Otherwise overall organization, including communication, was bad. Consultants couldn’t answer basic questions related to the courses, schedules and location and had to “come back” later with an answer. We had theoretical course online due to covid, which is fine by itself, but the books we were provided with were prints of the OLD powerpoint presentation that didn’t match online presentation we had and included mainly pictures with some sentences without proper context. We received recorded video presentation and new slides later, but no actual book with properly organized information and had to google most(nearly all) of information when we prepared for the exam, which made the theoretical course useless. Not to mention that it was rescheduled several times, on the last moment.
It looks to me like this company is still on the market thanks to the reputation they made long time ago and it’s founder’s good name. But I wouldn’t recommend it now. - via
