Just spent two weeks in Cabarete learning to kite. The crew at GoKite we're excellent! Gabriel was my main teacher and was patient, knowledgeable and a great instructor. Also spent an afternoon with Junior who was awesome as well. Easy to communicate with everyone at GoKite and they are totally flexible around your schedule (wind cooperating of course). Kite Beach is super fun but it does get very crowded and the water area for learning can feel a bit small when you are getting dragged around figuring out how to stay up. But it's also very learner friendly and the experienced kiters are welcoming. There are many many options for kiting schools in Cabarete. I'm very glad I chose GoKite! I plan to come back soon! - via
