I stopped in to purchase a pair of boots for an upcoming trip and was greeted by a gentleman who wasn't very pleasant. He had this whole "I don't want to help you let alone try to help you" attitude about him. I purchased some boots anyways and had to return them when I found out my gf has already bought me some. So he falls me "there is a 20% restocking fee", I knew that and was ok with it. Apparently the restocking fee included the tax I paid for the item also... after this experience... I will never do business there again!!! A person should feel welcome in a dive shop not feel like your bothering the guy working there! He even made the comment "why not buy local" (referring to some fins I brought in) although I ignored his statement, I wanted to say... well gee... because you don't sell what I want!!! I'm all about buying local but when local shops give this level of customer service, I'll do my business elsewhere!!! - via
