We only really intended to do one day of diving. It ended up not being very good. Not because of anything with the diver shop or the instructors. It was the visibility. We went out to the Catalinas and the visibility was extremely poor. We had such a great experience otherwise that we decided to book some local dives a few days later. We are glad we did.
We had some great local dives that left us in complete awe. The sights were incredible, we got to see some really cool sea life like a seahorse, dozens of rays, sharks, etc. We loved it so much that we booked another dive for the next day. This time was very similar to the day before. Loved the shop, loved the instructors, and when we come back I'll be sure to book through Rocket Frog. - via
