Like other customers mentioned here, some confusion in communication. They cancelled without letting me know - cancellation was for good reasons but I was not told so I woke up at 4:30AM to go to a dive that wasn’t happening. The excuse was that the phone number listed was international, which to be fair it was, but a simple email or checking the US based phone number I had listed on the sign up form would have saved a lot of trouble. It was not the first time that I had experienced confusion about scheduling with the company. They seem like nice people and immediately refunded the amount (not including processing fee). They said they did not have space to change to a different option.
I think constructive advice would be to have email confirmation of cancellations and show times. I understand that it’s quite difficult to reschedule but going a bit more out of their way to offer a reschedule would make the experience less disappointing.
The dive I did have with them the previous week was okay. Nice helpful captain and while it was not super exciting diving that was due to weather related reasons beyond their control. - via
