Not a great experience for us. Went on the 8pm tour. The lagoon is quite congested with multiple groups kayaking. Once out in the bay, we had to link up with all the other kayakers and put a wet tarp over our heads to try and see the limited bioluminescence for about 5 minutes. The bioluminescence was very limited due to environmental factors that have been ongoing and cloud coverage that night. They told us to splash paddles in water to activate the bit that was there, but we were linked together so close there was no way to get more than a hand in the water. As we were kayaking through the mangroves to and from the bay, one of the guides sang a one man karaoke show at the top of his lungs the whole way. It's a shame, because there are a lot of natural sounds of coquis (frogs) and water fowl that could be appreciated while kayaking. I did give an extra star because Jessica through the office was helpful with her communication. Our initial tour that was booked with transportation from San Juan several weeks before our departure was cancelled 6 hrs prior to departure due to lack of participants needing transportation. She was able to rebook us 3 days later. I understand that companies need to stay afloat and pay employees. I just wish they were a little more open and honest with us about the experience (as in you will have a plastic tarp over the group to see for 5 minutes). - via Google
