Wasn't the best experience having my Dive computer battery changed over. Watch was less than a year old and just needed a new battery. Serviced the watch something I didn't ask for and had to pay for the privilege of. The man at the shop when dropping the watch off was very strange. I asked if they had any dry gloves I could try on to see sizing and fit and went off on a random escapade about dry gloves non of which was wanted.
Then started saying the only reason I'm going to stoney cove was because of depth. Which is actually far from the reason I'm going.
Also told me he was going to sell my watch if I didn't pick it up on the day he phoned. But he never phoned I had to phone up to find out if my watch had the battery replaced.
I think I was in there about 15 mins something which should have taken 5. Needless to say I won't be coming back here. I was warned by other dive centres about this place. I can see why.
Edit I did enquire to cost and told them not to do the service on the watch I do all servicing myself. As my partner already does the job. On breathing equipment. Told me the price would be £30-£40 so was overcharged. Absolutely do not not use these as the owner teams to lie about things to. - via
