So, when you're told you should get a guide because they know more about the process than you? Yes, yes you should and Desafio should be THAT guide. We booked a tour way back when in 2016 with Desafio and they were so good that when we returned to Arenal we booked again with Desafio. This time, we booked the Sunset Cruise and it was a great experience. Mauro, our guide was hilarious and had a ton of local knowledge. He's obviously passionate about Arenal and his work. When we come back, I will not hesitate to book another tour with Desafio. - via
