I used scuba savvy to get my open water scuba certification. I’m so glad I did this and did not get certified on a trip where I would have wasted vacation time and not felt confident.
The moment I called to get info I was welcomed by Tammy, who kindly answered every question I had. When I went in to sign up for the class Tammy walked me through every detail and took the time to size me and help pick out equipment. There was no pressure to buy the most expensive gear, but focused more on what was best for me. Josh, Danielle and Chris were the instructors for my classes. I can’t say enough great things about them. They truly made this a great experience and I feel confident in my scuba skills for my upcoming trip! They were relaxed, great communicators and willing to work with everyone until they got each skill. We spent time in the class room, pool and finished at Beaver Lake. Spending a weekend at a lake with people I recently just met could have made for a long weekend, but the group became fast friends and I was sad to say goodbye at the end. Also, shout out to the owner, Chad. You can tell he has a passion for scuba and has built a great diving environment around him. You will not be sad you chose scuba savvy!
