Lots of reviews have written about how good this place is, so I'll focus on tips for the best visit. The aquarium can be overwhelming and chaotic at times.
1. Good discounts for military and teachers applies to whole family
2. Buy tickets in advance online. Can save as much as an hour in line
3. Definitely reserve the dolphin show same day, first thing in morning. Select an early show, but know that you can actually use your reservation any time during the day. If you have kids, sit in center, rows 5-7 for better view and getting splashed.
4. Arrive early 10 minutes prior to opening. Get stamp on hand for same day re-entry. Depart for lunch from 11-2 as it's crazy inside then. Come back for late afternoon and evening.
5. Ask for free entry to 'quiet room' if your kids become overwhelmed by the constant loud noise.
6. Strongly consider membership to bypass lines. Skip entry photo to save time in line
