The Beaches resort itself was tremendous...nice rooms, good food, gorgeous beach, friendly/helpful staff, and lots of activities and amenities. Transportation to and from the resort was horrible, to the point that I don't think I would return. 2 1/2 hr wait at the airport through immigration, then 2 1/2 drive to the resort where you felt as if you were risking your life. Considering the scale of tourism in Jamaica, one would think that the experience upon arrival and departure, and the ground Transportation system would be more inviting. - via
