I had the most amazing time with Kite Buen Hombre. I stayed with them in one of their bungalows overlooking the sea. It felt like I had stepped into the kiters paradise that you only ever hear of but never dream of seeing. Buen Hombre is a beautiful quiet kiters spot perfect for beginners and advanced kiters alike.
Kite Buen Hombre took such good care of me. As a solo women traveller they took me under their wing and made me feel so at home there I didn’t want to leave. Your happiness and well-being is their top priority. I’m a vegan and they made sure that there was always a proper meal waiting for me at breakfast and dinner.
The kite school is really well managed and has a great supportive atmosphere. I took an advanced lesson from their head instructor Micky in how to jump. And in 20 minutes I was landing my jumps. He is an incredible teacher and I could not recommend him enough, I have seen him put smiles on beginners and intermediate kiters.
Cabarete is a super cool place to kite, but to be able to kite in strong winds, with only a handful of kites on the water and with multiple downwinder options. Buen Hombre wins every time.
Definitely would recommend Kite Buen Hombre again and again. Big shout out to Helen, Riin & Eva for making it all happen. - via
